Mr Roy Burke, St Helena’s new Chief Secretary was this afternoon sworn in.

NEW CHIEF SECRETARY SWORN IN

Mr Roy Burke, St Helena’s new Chief Secretary was this afternoon sworn in.

Taking the Oaths in the presence of the Acting Governor, Sean Burns, in the Governor’s Office at the Castle.

Roy, who arrived on the Island on Wednesday 4 June 2014, was previously Chief Executive in the Sates of Alderney, Channel Islands, before taking up his appointment on St Helena.
