Falklands : Falkland Islands Holdings plc Announces Directorate Change

Falkland Islands Holdings plc, has announced that Mr. Edmund Rowland has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect, representing Blackfish Capital Management, a 20.1% shareholder in FIH.

Falkland Islands Holdings plc, has announced that Mr. Edmund Rowland has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect, representing Blackfish Capital Management, a 20.1% shareholder in FIH.

 

Currently serving as a Director of Blackfish Capital Management, Mr. Rowland is a specialist asset manager based in London, having previously gained experience in London and Hong Kong, as an analyst and investment manager with BNP Paribas and Blackfish.  He has broad experience of principal investing in both equity and credit capital markets, with a focus on special situations.

 

"I am very pleased to welcome Edmund to the Board of FIH. Blackfish is a substantial and supportive shareholder and we welcome their additional input to the Board in this exciting time for the Company,"  commented Mr. David Hudd, Executive Chairman of FIH.
