All : Promote South Atlantic music heritage to the rest of the World!
Submitted by (Islander Editors) 14.06.2013 (Article Archived on 16.08.2013)

What is WFSC and how can everyone participate (more info at http://wfsc.tumblr.com)

The aim of WFSC (World Forum Song Contest) is to introduce music from outside Europe to music fans.

It's a monthly song contest where ~20 players each submit a song they like, promote it, listen to other twenty-something songs and vote for top ten.

WFSC has been going strong since 2003.

Entry rules are simple: to submit an original non-European song, any style, language, length.

If you would like to participate, first you have to register to ESCforum and find WFSC section, where you can read everything you need to know (detailed rules, archive of used songs) about the contest.

Or you can just reserve your country by posting in the Reservations thread and submitting your entry via tumblr.

And then anxiously waiting for your very first edition to commence.
