STEEL
FRAMED HOMES PROGRAMME NOW SHOWING

On 27 August 2013 an Open
Day was held at one of the three new Steel-Framed homes on St Helena.

This new home is one of the first
three Government landlord houses to be built in 10 years. Showcasing modern
methods of construction the new home features an open plan layout with two
large bedrooms, a bathroom, fully fitted kitchen area, utility room and outside
patio. All three new homes are fitted with solar-powered water heating.

Members of the public who were
unable to attend the Open Day can now watch the Steel-Framed homes film on
local TV. With interviews from Andy Crowe, Housing Executive and Tracey Thomas,
Housing Manager the film provides an insight into the benefits and reasons
behind investing in Steel-Framed homes. This is accompanied by a visual
walkthrough of each room.

The film will be shown on local TV
channel 1 at 7. 30pm from Wednesday 4 September to Sunday 8 September 2013.
