Legislative Council will meet formally on Monday 14 October, at 10am in the Court House, Jamestown. This session is expected to last for the day.

Legislative Council will
meet formally on Monday 14 October, at 10am in the Court House, Jamestown. This
session is expected to last for the day.
Elections will be held to nominate
a Chairman for the Social and Community Development Committee and a member of
the Executive Council, following the recent resignation of Councillor Nigel
Dollery, from these positions.
Eight papers will be presented,
Applications for Development Permission 2012 ¡V Annual Report from Land Planning
and Development Control Board
to Report to Governor in Council ¡V Introduction of a Minimum Wage on St Helena
ƒá A Bill
for an Ordinance ¡V The Welfare of Children (Amendment) Ordinance, 2013
ƒá A Bill
for an Ordinance ¡V The Commissioner for Oaths (Amendment) Ordinance, 2013
ƒá The St
Helena National Trust Annual Report and Financial Statements,
ƒá St Helena
Audit Service ¡V Value for Money Review ¡V Government Landlord Housing
of Special Warrant 2013/13 to September 2013, St Helena Audit Service
Management Letter and Financial Statements.
During the meeting there will also
be seven questions and nine motions.
The meeting will conclude with the
customary Adjournment Debate, when Councillors will have the opportunity to
raise various issues relating to St Helena.
This is the first time that
Councillors will be meeting in formal session since the inaugural meeting held
on 24 July 2013.
