 - According to a St Helena Government press release the RFA Gold Rover has delivered medical supplies to Tristan da Cunha where the community had been suffering from an outbreak of the flu.

 - The ninth meeting of the Overseas Territories Consultative Council in London on 4-5 December was hosted by Meg Munn, Overseas Territories Minister at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK.

- December's hydrocarbons news will not come daily. This is due to the festive season.
Since last reporting crude prices have eased due to decreasing demand and warmer weather in the United States. Even though OPEC have decided not to increase production there has been a slip in prices as people are taking advantage of alternative energy and winter warmth.

 - A day of commemoration was held in the Falkland Islands in memory of all who gave their lives on 08 December 1914.

 - Meg Munn, Overseas Territories Minister, hosted the ninth meeting of the Overseas Territories Consultative Council (OTCC) on 4 and 5 December at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in London. Premiers, Chief Ministers, Councillors and other representatives from Britain's Overseas Territories attended. The Council is held annually in London and provides a forum for consultation with British Government Ministers.
