21: Decline of Blue Whiting Stocks in the South West Atlantic - Falklands (Fisheries) - 27.08.2011
Over the past few years stocks of Southern Blue Whiting have declined in the South West Atlantic. Most notably stocks have nose-dived since the Argentines pulled out of the South Atlantic Fisheries Commission (SAFC) in 2007, yet continued to catch in excess of the Total Allowable Catch Limit (TAC) recommended by the Commission.
